My name is Amanda Leach. I am 20 years old, and newly married to a fellow pipe smoker and love of my life. I have been smoking a pipe since I was 17, and I have developed into quite the pipe and tobacco connoisseur, despite the relatively small amount of time I have been a part of the pipe smoking community. I am always trying to grow my knowledge of tobaccos and pipes, so your tips, tricks, and bits of knowledge will be well appreciated!
I am currently in the process of writing a handbook to all of the tobacco blends carried by Just For Him in Springfield, MO. I have smoked nearly every one of their blends sold in bulk, and am slowly working my way through their tins, writing reviews as I go along.
My husband, Jacob, and I collectively own close to 20 pipes, from low end to high, from brand new to estate sale, from briar to meerschaum, and we are constantly expanding our collection. (I purchased a new pipe last night! Expect a review on it.)
Jacob and I have drastically different tastes in our tobaccos, and hopefully he will lend his opinion on some of the blends I am not a fan of.
If you found your way here from my newly posted YouTube video, allow me to make excuses for myself. In late July, Jacob took my camera caving with him. My camera cord is lying somewhere at the bottom of a cave in Arkansas. Unfortunately, my camera is so old that the necessary cable cannot be purchased for anything other than an outrageous amount of money. Without a camera, obviously, I cannot film. Hopefully I will be purchasing a new camera soon.
My current plan of action is to post on Mondays and Fridays, with random posts in between when I feel the need.
